What is the End Product?
- 1 Full Length Film 45:00 - 2:00:00 in length (sometimes even longer)
- 1 Highlight Film 4:00 - 6:30 in length
Your full wedding film may be 35 minutes or 2 1/2 hours, there is no limit. If the speeches are long and the ceremony is long, it's all there. Your morning, photoshoot moments, and party are all edited in montage-form, pulling everything together like a movie. You even get to pick your own music. The highlight video is anywhere from 4-6 minutes, like the videos you've seen on the website.
This is a legitimate documentary with you as the subject. It will be a family heirloom you will cherish into the future as you grow your family.
How does the Day Look for Us?
Morning - Each videographer arrives to the Getting Ready locations at an agreed time. This is usually 30-45 minutes before getting dressed - around the time Hair and Make-Up is finished. There are no hourly limitations. Your investment is not affected by time, so no matter your schedule for the day we are there for you and we are ready to roll.
Writing a letter to each other to open before leaving for the ceremony is encouraged, but no pressure. Voice overs for the highlight film can often be found during these cute, private moments. The videographer is with you filming candidly until departing to your next location. You'll have already gotten used to the camera being around.
Ceremony - The Ceremony is filmed in full length. It is edited together using 4 camera angles and many microphones. After walking down the aisle, the videographers stay far back and out of the way using zoom lenses. We pride ourselves on how discreet we are during the ceremony, and in general.
Photoshoot - First look, bridal party fun, family shots… We always have a lot of fun during these moments when the photographer is directing you, your party, and your family. The more artistic and posed, formal and beautiful shots are captured during these hours.
Cocktail Hour & Reception - The cocktail hour establishes the reception venue and sets the vibe for the evening of speeches. The speeches are included in full length. Filmed with 4 angles, we are able to capture your speech-givers and also your reactions, edited together for you to relive. The podium will be lit up with our professional lighting if it's not already lit. Your first dances are included in full length cut between 2 dynamic camera angles.
Party - When everything goes into full party mode and we have what we need to wrap up the film, it's time to turn off the cameras. We will approach you and let you know we have what we need and we will all agree to end the filming.
The Investment
The total investment for a Wyton Weddings Family Heirloom Film is $7,190.00+HST
50% due as a retainer with the signed contract to hold the date and the remaining 50% due upon notice of completion of the 2 films
We have a 5 month turn-around-time and often finish faster
